Title: “Is Your Horse Ready to Drive?
Description:
The stages of driving training and what your horse needs to know from basic ground work to long lining to being introduced to pulling objects for the first time up to the first hooks in the cart. This demonstration focuses on systematic training and safety of both horse and handler throughout the process. It will also discuss harness and vehicle suitability and be open to questions.

Biography:
Cori Trout has been professionally involved with horses for over 20 years. During that time, she
has earned her Associates in Equine Science, a BFA in Art Education, and became certified through the American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA) in Dressage, Driving, and Recreational Riding. She has introduced hundreds of people to horses for the first time as well as helping many others improve their horsemanship skills. She has been involved with driving for over twelve years and has trained many horses of various breeds and sizes. She lives with her husband and their three boys in Queen Creek with their herd of seven horses.

positive reinforcement along with a mustang perform a few more advanced maneuvers!

Title: Foundations of Trick Riding
Description:
Discover the history behind the wonderful sport of trick riding. Learn about the
different kinds of equipment and see some tricks in action!

Biography:

With a bachelor’s degree in equine science, Mackenzie Wilde is a horse trainer and
trick rider located in Ash Fork, AZ. Between her lifetime of horse experience and passion for the
species, her focus is to create a lifelong partnership between horse and handler using science-
based methods. She is the author of two equine-related books and will be launching an online
training academy Fall 2022.
