Special Kids Rodeo (SKR) Registration
Please check back in the fall for 2026 updates
Roots N’ Boots Queen Creek’s Special Kids Rodeo (SKR) features fun cowboy activities just for special kids! Registration is limited to children between the ages of 5 and high school receiving special education services that qualify through the Arizona Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). If you have more than one child with special needs, please complete a separate application for each child and add a note that they are siblings.
Applications must be submitted by March 7, 2025 at 5:00pm. Space is limited. Your child must have a completed and signed release form to participate. One PRCA Pro Rodeo ticket voucher will be given to each registered participant for the Friday night or Sunday afternoon performance.
**NOTE: If your child is afraid of animals, clowns, balloons and/or mascots, the Special Kids Rodeo experience may not be a good fit for him or her.
Forms may also be found at Rootsnboots.org/About/before-you-go/forms/. Completed and signed application and release form(s) can be scanned and sent to skr_registration@friendsofhorseshoepark.org or sent via U.S. mail to Special Kids Rodeo, C/O Roots N’ Boots Queen Creek, PO Box 1062, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
Participants will receive a confirmation email, which will include details about the event.
Siblings without special needs may not participate – NO EXCEPTIONS – however we invite them to be spectators or participate in Kids N’ Kritters, Ranch Dressing, and Xtreme Teen Rodeo events on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Details on those events is available at www.RootsNBoots.org.
