Youth Committee

Roots N’ Boots offers a wonderful opportunity for youth ages 12-21 each year to be apart of the youth committee. This committee works together as a team to put on various events throughout the year as well has help plan the annual rodeo each year. Youth are able to take part in planning with the help of the chair members to do things like social media marketing, merchandise design and planning, planning the SKR (Special Kids Rodeo), and many other important tasks.

Every other month the youth committee holds an adaptive learning program at the Queen Creek recreation center, where they offer different rodeo related sensory activities for children with special needs. Along with this activity the youth committee participates in other town events like Founder’s Day, trunk or treat, and the holiday parade.

This year we have over 20 hardworking and determined youth who are ready to have a great year. Through this experience the youth learn how to work as a team and what it takes to put on the rodeo each year. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the Youth Committee or would like to sponsor them contact Myrna Flores at 602-540-6715.
